Meet the passionate individuals behind the READ TO LEAD® approach to connected learning. Led by founder and qualified coach Sarah Clayton-Jones and supported by a team and ambassadors, each one embodies the core values of Connection, Growth and Inclusivity, united by a common mission – to connect and grow people into better leaders with the READ TO LEAD® method of bitesize and action-based learning.

With over 20 years’ experience leading and developing teams at global organisations including Volkswagen and Accenture, Sarah blends sharp commercial insight with a people-centred approach.
An accredited ICF performance coach and facilitator, NLP and Neuroscience Practitioner, DiSC profiler, and Prosci Change Practitioner. Sarah brings together the science of learning and change with the art of human connection to drive behaviour change and business results.
Growth-minded and adventure-seeking, Sarah loves travelling in her campervan, reading, and skiing, just not at the same time!

Olivia started her career in the FMCG sector working for global brands leading teams through significant periods of change and growth whilst developing new sectors and opportunities to diversify the business.
Outside of work Olivia loves travelling, always with a side of adventure. Give her a ski holiday over the beach any day. She loves supporting her three sports mad children. Weekends are often on the side of a rugby or hockey pitch. – fuelling her interest for what sport and business can learn from each other.

"Dare to Lead by Brené Brown. Showing vulnerability allows people to ‘take off their armour and have conversations with real meaning and impact."

A self-confessed data geek, she’s passionate about understanding audiences - what drives them, what they need, and crafting the right message at the right moment to create maximum impact.
Outside of work, Josie loves being outdoors. You’ll often find her at the beach, exploring the New Forest, or tending to her garden whenever she gets some downtime.

Watertight Marketing by Bryony Thomas.
“I love its systematic approach to fine-tuning the marketing engine so every cog works as hard as possible. Sometimes it’s not about reaching more people, it’s about making the ones who are already there take notice and take action.”

In addition Lee also runs a wedding photography business with his wife where he gets to photograph some incredible places in the UK and abroad. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, hiking, and gathering around a campfire with a whisky.

"Building a Story Brand by Donald Miller - I use elements of this book in most of the websites I create, it's really simple and super effective!"

Since starting her own consultancy, she’s focused on helping business owners and marketing teams tell the stories behind their brands to build awareness and create lasting connections.
Outside of work, Kate shares her house with two energetic boys and a hyperactive dog, so weekends are usually spent at the side of a football pitch or striding across the Nottinghamshire countryside.

"Everybody Writes, by Ann Handley. A great all-rounder when it comes to copywriting and content, I believe everyone who reads Ann’s clear and practical guide will take away something useful, even if they’ve been writing for years."

As Head of Operations at Read to Lead, Lynsey combines her love of structure with a people-first approach, making sure the day-to-day runs seamlessly while creating the space for others to focus on their best work. Known for her resilience and creative adaptability, she’s at her happiest when turning complexity into clarity and helping ideas come to life.
Outside of work, Lynsey is a devoted mum and self-confessed spice enthusiast who loves to cook. She stays active with pilates and swimming, and most weekends you’ll find her cheering from the sidelines at her son’s football matches (thermals and hot coffee essential!).

The Alchemy of Virtual Assistance by Suzy Sanders, which resonated deeply with my own journey - a reminder that with resilience, adaptability, and courage, it’s possible to create a fulfilling career on your own terms.

She brings over 20 years of management experience across multiple business disciplines, with a strong focus on project management and process improvement; helping businesses work more effectively and deliver measurable results.
Outside of work, she’s a mum of twins, which means life is always busy and twice the fun. An enthusiastic traveller, she loves exploring the world and trying new experiences, with Peru currently topping the list as her favourite destination.

With a background in learning and development within financial services Victoria brings
order and organisation to get things done along with creativity, insight and a sense of fun.
Outside of work, you can find Victoria dreaming about her next sailing holiday in Greece,
working out, reading under a heated blanket and slowly improving her watercolour painting
skills.

Humour, Seriously by Jennifer Aaker and Naomi Bagdonas. At last, evidence to show the
wide reaching positive effects of humour in the workplace (and life). The authors make a
case for this undervalued superpower being cultivated to bolster creativity, problem-solving,
relationships and more.

With over 15 years’ experience working with global organisations, she has a strong understanding of how cultural dynamics shape communication, collaboration and performance. Originally from France and based in England since 2003, she works confidently across borders, helping leaders build alignment and navigate complexity.
Gaëlle supports leaders and teams to strengthen relationships, improve communication and embed practical behaviour change in their day-to-day work. As an EMCC accredited coach and certified in EQi 2.0 and EQi 360, she focuses on small, meaningful shifts that lead to lasting impact.
